Beyond Blue, Australia's national depression organisation, has committed to a package of initiatives to improve the mental health of LGBT people. At a roundtable held 17 December 2009 Beyond Blue CEO acknowledged that the organisation had not worked effectively with the LGBT community sector in the past and committed to ongoing work in partnership. The Alliance presented a number of recommendations at the roundtable and will work with Beyond Blue to ensure the initiatives benefit LGBT people.
