Wear It With Pride
On February 2nd 2010 Wear It With Pride was launched. Wear It With Pride is the Alliance's national education campaign on the same-sex relationships law reform. 85 Commonwealth laws were changed to remove discrimination against same-sex couples, but many people remain unaware of the benefits and responsibilities that these reforms have brought them. They affect parenting, relationships, immigration, public office, social security, finances/taxation, health and ageing and workplace entitlements. Detailed information can be found on the Wear It With Pride website. Alliance members will spread the word in various types of local campaign delivery in each state and territory.
