This webinar explores how the ABS 2020 Standard being used to improve data collection on LGBTIQ+ communities.

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) Standard for Sex, Gender, Variations of Sex Characteristics and Sexual Orientation Variables, 2020 (2020 Standard) is being progressively adopted and now used for a range of data collection. This webinar explores the impact it has had on data collection in regards to LGBTQI+ communities and features Nicole Capper, leader of the Community and Family Statistics team at the Australian Bureau of Statistics, and James Mowle, leader of the Social Characteristics team at the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
